Professional Designation
The Professional Project Analyst (PPA) is a single-level professional designation administered by IFMI. The certification validates competence in project feasibility analysis, investment evaluation, financial and risk modelling, and strategic project decision-making across commercial, industrial, public, and multi-stakeholder environments.
This certification is intended for professionals who must justify projects to executives, lenders, investors, or regulatory bodies, and it recognizes holders as decision-grade project analysts who can defend assumptions, quantify risks, and communicate results to senior decision-makers.

Who Can Apply
Candidates are expected to have involvement or serious attentiveness in feasibility and project analysis work that requires evaluating viability, building models, and supporting investment/risk decisions.
Minimum Eligibility Conditions:
Education
At least Senior High School (or equivalent) and legally competent to enter binding agreements
No specific degree required - we value practical experience and competence
Language
PPA exam is delivered in your country bilingual format, in English and your local language. However, there could be situations where the local language is not available.
In cases where local language is unavailable, sufficient English comprehension and writing ability is required
Technical Capability
Ability to operate a computer/laptop (Windows or Linux) and use spreadsheet applications (LibreOffice Spreadsheet)

Training Attendance

Preparation Training Program
Participants can attend a preparation training program delivered by Registered Training Providers (RTPs) approved by IFMI. However, competence is determined exclusively through the PPA examination conducted by IFMI.
Important: IFMI does not provide training directly. RTPs operate independently under IFMI oversight to safeguard impartiality and maintain certification integrity.
